Prince (Chief) Adedotun Adebola Babatunde Tajudeen Jagun was born on March 8, 1974, in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He proudly represents his heritage from Ijebu Ode, specifically from The Fidipote Ruling House located in the Porogun quarters of Idewon, with ancestral roots tracing back to Iwade Ntatebo.

Ancestry and Family Legacy

He is honored to be the great-great-grandson of Awujale Ademuyewo fidipote, who reigned from 1850 to 1886, and the great-grandson of Princess Adefowope Ademuyewo, the wife of his great-grandfather, 'Dada' Olateju Jagun, renowned as the Generalissimo of Ijebuland. His family legacy continues with his grandparents, Prince Rabiu Adeniji Jagun, a distinguished cocoa magnate, and Princess Alhaja Jagun. Prince Rabiu was a significant figure during the pre-independence era, notably as a sponsor of the Tribune newspaper under the leadership of Chief Obafemi Awolowo in 1960. The family residence on Fusigboye Street in Fidipote, Ijebu Ode, stands as a testament to their rich heritage.

Prince Adedotun is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Jagun, with his father serving as an emeritus professor who has dedicated nearly 50 years to academia, teaching at Ogun State University and the University of Lagos. His educational path during the 1980s and 1990s took him through prestigious institutions in Lagos, Ibadan, and Shagamu before he relocated to the United States. There, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Maryland Baltimore College (UMBC) and later pursued an MBA at the University of Maryland College Park (UMD)

Professional Endeavors

Currently, Prince Adedotun holds the position of Finance and Contract Manager within the Engineering and Business Compliance Department at Johns Hopkins Medical Management Corporation. He is also the founder of FIDIPOTE ROYALTIES LTD & LLC, which serves as the parent company to FIDIPOTE FOOD MARKET LTD & LLC, marking his contributions to both business and community development.

As a proud father of two boys, aged 20 and 17, he cherishes the moments spent with his family. In his free time, he enjoys taking vacations, participating in competitive and leisure golfing, and attending family events, all of which enrich his life and strengthen family bonds.
